Pop Quiz, Monday with Jenny

The Pop Quiz, Monday is a fun little exam that we love to give to savvy business owners. The examination is not a surprise after all since the interviewee already knew about the questions in advance. However, we can always pretend and have fun with the scenario of a young entrepreneur sitting in class nervously biting on their pencil. They are ready to take a pop quiz on a chapter that they were supposed to read the night before. Instead, they played Metroid all night on their SNES (Oops, this was me in high school). The real purpose of the pop quiz is that this is a fun way to introduce business tips from real-world experiences that you can not learn in a classroom. We want to thank our entrepreneur for being a good sport and volunteering their time to answer a few questions to help our community grow from their knowledge.

I want to introduce you to our guest today who will be taking our Pop Quiz Monday.

Can you please tell everyone your name?

What is your job role?

Tell us about your company?
JH Marketing Results LLC is a visibility consulting company. I create done-for-you visibility and marketing campaigns for entrepreneurs and companies ready to hit their next level goals in their business and want to be seen by more followers quickly to do so. My strategies have helped organizations go viral in a day, trend on the sidebar of social media, book out classes, get international media attention, increase engagement by over 500% in weeks, and more.

Jenny, the owner of JH Marketing Results, started her first business at 19 years old. By 20, she expanded into marketing consulting for franchises and local businesses due to her first business’ success. She was able to help clients book out classes, move from part-time to full-time entrepreneurship, increase in-person event attendance drastically, and increase social media engagement by 50% in a month.

She branched out into public relations and became a signed and freelance model and actress, which led to her love of the entertainment industry. By 21, she began managing bands and musicians, which led to booking clients as openers on world tours, live radio interviews, and features on local talk shows.

At 23, she became the youngest marketing director of an international program and began a strategy she had tested time and time again – building organic marketing and visibility campaigns that skyrocketed influencer status and thought leadership. Her campaigns reached millions overnight.

By 24, Jenny was recruited to become a college professor, teaching social media strategy to students in the United States. At 25, Jenny was interviewed by USA Weekly and named a social media expert, but later that year, she faced a near-death experience.

After, she decided to leave the corporate sector to pursue entrepreneurship full-time, re-branded her consulting business, and began living the digital nomad life so she could travel the world and follow her new life mission.

Now, Jenny offers done-for-you visibility and marketing campaigns to established female online entrepreneurs and companies who are ready to level up their business and change the world with their message through epic visibility and marketing campaigns.

What do you love most about your job?
The creativity of my business keeps me motivated and excited to work with new clients. I love seeing trends and patterns online. Building out campaigns is a great way to build connections with audiences and seeing the conversation that comes from it is so rewarding.

What motivates you to get up every day and go to work?
Knowing that you’re making an impact and difference is a big reason for me to get up every day. I work with entrepreneurs and companies who have a life-changing offer for the world and know they can impact lives with it. For me, I can’t wait to introduce them to thousands or millions of people who are waiting for this message to reach them. That makes it worth everything.

How do your co-workers inspire you?
Solo entrepreneur

How do you have fun at work (team building, pranks, etc..)?
Social media is a huge part of my online business, and it’s so much fun. I enjoy networking online, sharing Instagram stories of my day, and collaborating with other entrepreneurs. It’s wonderful to have a supportive community and business friends that you can bounce ideas off of.

What are some of the challenges of your job?
A lot of entrepreneurs want to be very visible, but they use “foundational” marketing strategies. Online entrepreneurs use Facebook Groups, their own social media platforms, go live, and post consistently, but these marketing tactics are the basics – the foundation. To build visibility in extreme ways with massive exposure, entrepreneurs need to think outside the box. I think this is a big challenge for some entrepreneurs as they already feel like they are doing “all the things” online, but aren’t getting massive results or scaling after a certain point. In my role, I work to introduce them to campaign strategies that set them up for success once their foundation has been built.

What are some lessons learned from a past project that you can share with us?
While it is important to pick your niche, don’t niche down so far that you don’t have much of a pool of potential clients to pull from. Don’t limit yourself, but do be specific. There is a balance!

What advice would you give to someone who is starting out in your industry?
Know yourself and who you want to work with. Be specific! Especially when you are building out visibility campaigns, it’s hard to target “everyone.” Know who you want to work with and find out where they are online and off-line. That is the best way to determine how to get in front of them when you’re first starting out.

Thank you for taking our pop quiz today. You get an A+ for effort. You can learn more about our interviewee and their business by visiting them on the web:
