The Pop Quiz, Monday is a fun little exam that we love to give to savvy business owners. The examination is not a surprise after all since the interviewee already knew about the questions in advance. However, we can always pretend and have fun with the scenario of a young entrepreneur sitting in class nervously biting on their pencil. They are ready to take a pop quiz on a chapter that they were supposed to read the night before. Instead, they played Metroid all night on their SNES (Oops, this was me in high school). The real purpose of the pop quiz is that this is a fun way to introduce business tips from real-world experiences that you can not learn in a classroom. We want to thank our entrepreneur for being a good sport and volunteering their time to answer a few questions to help our community grow from their knowledge.
I want to introduce you to our guest today who will be taking our Pop Quiz Monday.
Can you please tell everyone your name?
What is your job role?
Founder and CMO
Tell us about your company?
Autobot India (ABI) is an organisation which is growing and focused towards developing a professional workforce for the evolving EV industry worldwide to support the transforming eco-system from ICE to EV. Our objective is to create a one Stop Solution platform for the EV technology solutions and services.
What do you love most about your job?
Being completely from management background into core technical field, I enjoy new challenges, learning opportunities and my see my self as an engineer by Passion, not by profession. The passion inside me to learn and explore.
What motivates you to get up every day and go to work?
In one line I would say my purpose of life which means educating young people for the right approach and quality education which the Indian education system lacks significantly.
How do your co-workers inspire you?
I always find my self around passionate team working for their real interest and passion which always motivate me to push myself to the next step.
How do you have fun at work (team building, pranks, etc..)?
Within our organisation, we have a specific self-developed eco-system where our work itself a joy which is full of adventure and fun. But sometimes we prefer to take a break and hang out with the team.
What are some of the challenges of your job?
We made a whole new blue market where we didn’t find much challenging at business or management level but yes re-structuring our existing education system is a real concern. Convincing the university or institute management for the future benefits of practical education is real competition in itself. In a nutshell that is not at all ready to take the extra responsibility to make this happen for their students. A better future I would say except few responsible institutes.
What are some lessons learned from a past project that you can share with us?
There are few lessons from my early life failures are:
- Work for the name not for money, once your earn name(trust) in market money automatically will come to you.
- Life is too short to live all your dreams. Try to live as much as you can.
- Never give up no matter what. God is always kind.
What advice would you give to someone who is starting in your industry?
I would suggest making a better product or good services which add some value even after your support is not there.
