This price cap ensures that they do just that- give first.

This policy literally enforces that.

This allows members to get access to high level advice at no extra cost.

If an extremely experienced mentor comes on to the platform with a super impressive resume, they will do their first few calls for free – so even bootstrapped startups can get on a call with them.

With all of that being said, we do believe that mentors should be able to choose if they want to be reimbursed for the time after they get their feet wet and get some experience under the belt.

You will then be able to select which calendar you would like GrowthMentor to synch with.

Once the sync is complete, sessions that are accepted by mentors will automatically appear.

Best practices for your intro video

• Start with introducing yourself and then transition to briefly mentioning your qualifications, experience, special skills.
• Make sure you talk about how your personal experience/journey can help potential mentees avoid the growing pains of developing their startup.
• Keep it short – optimal video length is between 50 and 100 seconds.

Mentor profiles are open to the public.  People do not have to be logged into the platform to see your profile.  

Only members are able to message you or book a session.

We also share articles and promote mentors’ work via social media as much as possible.

You will always see schedules based on the time zone that you are currently in.  Our scheduling system pulls the current time from your browser.  

If you are signing up for a session with a mentor, you will see their availability converted into YOUR time.  No need to do the math!

*If you are traveling and still plan to do sessions, make sure your schedule properly reflects the time you will be available in the time zone you are traveling to.  Now you may have to do some math
